Who Should Take Private Lessons? 

 

Anyone and everyone from 7-97 are welcome! If you enjoy singing and want to learn more about your voice and how to use it, then voice lessons are right for you.

What Will I Learn?

 

Students will learn how to develop healthy vocal technique through singing exercises and movement. We will work through aural and visual music exercises to build musicianship and confidence reading music. Then, we will apply the skills you are developing to appropriate repertoire that YOU love!

 

What Types of Music Can I Study?

 

That depends on what types of music you love to sing. I love to work on a variety of songs and styles tailored to each student's interests and needs. From opera and art music to country, jazz, musical theatre, or even popular anime music. Students are also encouraged to bring in anything they might need to polish for an upcoming audition. (Audition Examples: Talent show, Musical, Region/All-State Choir or College School of Music)
